Roads- Before the industrialization there were barely any roads, and the roads that were made were muddy, rocky, and would flood easily. Congress authorized the construction of the National Road, which went from Maryland to the Ohio River at Wheeling, Virginia. Roads then were made out of crushed stones that make traveling easier and quicker.
